2. What data we collect
We only collect the data you give us when you write to us through the website, WhatsApp or email: name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, tentative travel dates, number of people and the message you send.
Bookings and payments are made through the Cloudbeds booking engine, which acts as a data processor under its own terms. The website does not collect card or payment details.
We do not request sensitive data or data from children or teenagers through the website.
3. What we use it for
- Answering your questions and requests for information.
- Preparing quotes for retreats, groups and gatherings.
- Managing your booking and your stay, and staying in touch before, during and after it.
- Sending you news from Salvia Madre, only if you expressly authorize it.
- Meeting legal, accounting and National Tourism Registry obligations.
4. Authorization
By sending a form on the website and ticking the consent box, you give us your prior, express and informed authorization to process your data for the purposes in this policy. You can withdraw it at any time.
5. Your rights
- Know, update and correct your personal data.
- Request proof of the authorization you gave us.
- Be informed about how we use it.
- Withdraw your authorization or ask us to delete your data, when there is no legal duty to keep it.
- Access your data free of charge.
- File complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), after first contacting us.
6. How to exercise them
Write to salviaymadre@gmail.com with your name, what you need and a way to reach you. We answer inquiries within ten (10) business days and claims within fifteen (15) business days, extendable as the law allows. If we need more time, we will let you know before the deadline.
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell or transfer your data. It is handled only on our behalf, and for the purposes of this policy, by the providers that make the service work: website and email hosting (Hostinger), the booking engine (Cloudbeds) and email (Google). Some of them store information outside Colombia, with appropriate security measures.
8. Security and retention
We apply reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your data against loss or unauthorized use or access. We keep it as long as needed for the purposes described or as long as the law requires.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with its date. If the change is substantial, we will let you know before it applies.
